ABACA Grotto was formed in 1933 by Edward H. Cann. There were 125 founding members, who helped The Fredericksburg Rescue Squad purchase its first vehicle called the “Green Hornet”.
For many years, one of our great fundraisers has been running the concession stand at the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair. Funds are raised for our Dr. Smiles program, cerebral palsy, cancer research, dentisry for the handicapped, and other charities.
